Time to create history

Kairat entered the game with a confident 3:0 away win, so many thought that it was a matter 90 minutes to qualify to the next round. But at this stage of the tournament it is a two-leg match, so it was too early to think that the game was done.

Kairat U-19: Oleg Grubov (GK), Madi Aitore, Alibek Kasym (C), Ilya Artyushenko, Maxim Kotov, Akmal Bakhtiyarov, Zhandos Soltan, Bagdaulet Zhuzbay, Gleb Evseev, Eskendir Kybyray, Ramazan Orazov.

Dinamo U-19: Demetre Buliskera (GK), Davit Kikalishvili, Nika Ninua, Luka Lochoshvili  (C), Daviti Kobouri, Akaki Kurashvili, Soslanbek Dzagoev, Giorgi Kutsia, George Gogilashvili, Giorgi Chakvetadze, Giorgi Zaria.

Psychologically, Dinamo was in a better position as they faced the home side, allowing to play their fooball. Georgian side started better of the two teams and had few good chances at the beginning. 7 minutes into the first half Chakvetadze opened the the score - 0:1.

Home side was not happy with way the game started, but Dinamo continued to control the possession. Kairat was struggling to weather the storm as Dinamo hit the crossbar in one of the attacks. Same as in the first leg, Dinamo players are not very accurate with their shots.

Minutes into the second half and Zaria could have doubled the lead, but the ball hits the bar and went across the goal, no one was on the finsihing end of it. Dinamo was forcing it forward, almost everyone was at the oppostion's half and that was the turning as Kairat managed to catch them on the counter. The ball was intercepted in the middle and Bakhtiyarov found himself within the shooting range, Akmal did not miss – 1:1.

The draw almost ended the chances for Dinamo to qualify, but inspired the home side. More chances were created on the opposition's side. On 70th minute Bakhtiyarov was fouled inside the box. Vilkov pointed to the spot. Kotov was clinical from the penalty spot – 2:1.

In the last 10 minutes of the game Kairat increased their lead. A corner was well finished by Zhandos Soltan, who was first to the ball – 3:1, but this was not enough for Kairat youngsters. Artyom Popov scored another one – 4:1, and Ramazan Orazov finshed the game off - 5:1.

Kairat U-19 got two wins out of two in the UEFA Youth League with aggregate score 8-1 and into the next round, where they will face the winner of Salzburg (Austria) - Vardar (Macedonia).
