Kazakhstan qualified to the semi-finals of Granatkin Memorial tournament for the first time
Ustimenko and Suyunov, both FC Kairat players, helped Kazakhstan national team to reach semi-final on the Granatkin Memorial international tournament, as they beat Slovenia.
Kazakhstan U19 faced Slovenia U19 in the quarter-final of Valentin Granatkin Memorial international tournament and managed to get a win 2-0. Early goal gave confidence and affected the opposition. Zhanali Pairuz opened the score two minutes from the first whistle. On the 62nd minute referee saw a foul inside the box and pointed to the spot. Aidos Oral, team captain, was clinical from the spot. Kazakhstan, for the first time in its history, got through to the semi-final of Granatkin Memorial international tournament.
In the semi-final youngsters will face Greece.
